Achraf Hakimi’s Wife Initiates Divorce, Only to Discover He Owns No Property as Assets
Achraf Hakimi, a popular footballer, has found himself in the middle of a divorce case with his wife, Hiba Abouk.
Abouk had filed for a divorce and demanded half of his property. However, she was surprised to learn that her “millionaire” husband has no property registered in his name.
Despite receiving a monthly salary of €1 million from his club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Hakimi has no cars, houses, jewelry, or even clothes registered under his name. In fact, 80% of his salary is deposited into his mother’s account, who he turns to for any financial needs.
Abouk had expected to receive an equal share of Hakimi’s €70 million assets, but was informed by the court that all his property is registered under his mother’s name. The couple’s age difference of 12 years and a previous accusation of Hakimi molesting a woman invited to their home has also drawn attention to their divorce case.
The allegations against the Moroccan international were made last month, and an investigation is currently ongoing. It is unclear how the court will handle the divorce case given Hakimi’s lack of personal assets.
