Prince William Says “We Are Very Much Not A Racist Family” Following Harry & Meghan’s Oprah Interview
Prince William has spoken out for the first time since his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent interview with Oprah Winfrey.
William was making an appearance at a school in east London when he was asked about the allegations regarding racism in the Royal Family.
“We are very much not a racist family,” he said in response to a question from Sky News.
William was also asked whether he had spoken to Harry yet, to which he replied: “I haven’t spoken to him yet but I plan to.”
During the interview, the couple claimed that a member of the Royal Family – that wasn’t the Queen or Duke Of Edinburgh – raised “concerns” about the potential skin colour of their unborn baby when Meghan was pregnant with Archie.
On Tuesday (March 9), Buckingham Palace released a statement saying that allegations of racism are “concerning” and “will be addressed”.
