Man awarding celebs on behalf of United Nations, allegedly exposed as a fraudster

Many Ghanaian celebrities seem to have fallen for a cheap scam after a man who has been awarding them on behalf of the United Nations (UN) and Kofi Annan Foundation has been exposed as a fraudster.

If it turns out that the man is a fraud, it remains a mystery how celebrities were able to fall for such scam.

A Twitter user Elvin with the handle @elvinnicks, has claimed that a man identified as Dr. Kwame Owusu Fordjour, is a scam, as he went on to expose the real identity of the alleged fraudster.

Over the weekend, Kwame Owusu Fordjour embarked on an awarding spree and spearheaded the awarding of key Ghanaian celebrities.

The award was given to some key industry players like the CEO of SarkCess Music, Sarkodie, Media personality Berla Mundi and others.

The Twitter user said that all these awards given to these people are not genuine neither is the person representing the United Nations or the Kofi Annan Foundation as he claimed he does.

Elvin made this allegation as an exposé on the real identity of Dr Fordjour with additional videos and pictures to prove that he is indeed a fraudster.

In a series of Tweets, he also alleged that Dr. Kwame Owusu Fourdjour was arrested some times ago for defrauding a bank. He wrote;

“This is the so called Dr. who is going around awarding directors, chiefs and our stars in the name of UN and Kofi Annan when the UN doesn’t know him.”

If true, it remains a shocker how the top celebs fell for such scam.
