Ghetts secures number 2 spot in the uk album charts with ‘conflict of interest’

It has now been announced that Ghetts’s latest album, Conflict Of Interest, has debuted at Number 2 in the UK Album Charts!

The UK charts were revealed this afternoon (February 26) by Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1.

During Mills’ show it was declared that Ghetts’ Conflict Of Interest came in at Number 2, following Scottish band Mowgai whose LP As The Love Continues topped the charts this week. Claiming the Number 3 spot is Dua Lipa with her album Future Nostalgia.

Since dropping last Friday, Conflict Of Interest – which is Ghetts’ first UK Top 5 album – has received critical acclaim, with many already regarding the project as album of the year.

A #GhettsForNumber1 campaign was launched earlier on in the week after it was announced the record was in the running to top the charts, and saw Ghetts epically riding around the streets of London on a tank.

A Number 2 spot in the charts is a massive achievement for any artist, but especially one who’s 16 years deep into the music industry like Ghetts is.

Big congrats Ghetts!
